A key department in ensuring our teams can deliver the best possible service is our Learning and Development team. And the Learning and Development Advisor will provide Training and Development to a brand/region within the Inspiring Learning group. They will build partnerships with functional Stakeholders, and coordinate with the L&D team to determine, define, design, develop and deliver Learning experiences that support the priorities of the organisation and needs of the customers and to evaluate its overall effectiveness. The Learning & Development advisor will lead, manage and execute strategic and tactical projects within their assigned region and sites, they will also work with the functional and organisation leadership teams to ensure alignment of learning initiatives and strategies with local business needs. The Business Partner will be a change agent to help achieve efficiency and effectiveness of the L&D mission.
Key Roles responsibilities and accountabilities

•To design, deliver and evaluate training sessions/programmes within the group learning framework, that
support business objectives and the brand.

•Ensure individuals/Camps/Centres have continuous improvement and development for success planning where applicable.

•To spend times on the Camps/Centres coaching and embedding the training with the teams

•Communicating data and metrics that informs and supports managers and teams’ progress and succession

•Research potential new learning activities, introduce and implement new training processes and systems
to record and review training needs and delivery.

•To support out digital learning strategy in providing online learning solutions in conjunction with our Learner Management System

•Review the training which is currently offered within the Company and ensure that it is fit for purpose,
including induction and e-learning packages.

•Map out training plans for new starters and allocate required training and induction programmes on commencement with Company.

•Design training profiles for all roles identifying both mandatory and plan non-essential training and
development which support the needs of the business.

•Work closely with Managers to review learning and development interventions for technical competencies, leadership development and personal effectiveness.

•Source, identify and arrange internal and external training to address competency gaps.

•Identify and monitor training KPI’s and prepare reports including training costs, budget and delivery of courses/qualifications.

•Maintain accurate up to date records, financial reporting for operational costs.

•To be responsible for ensuring all relevant employee records for the business area are accurate and up to date on the computerised HR databases.

Typical knowledge, skills and experience

Graduate calibre (desirable)
CIPD Qualified (Desirable)
Great delivery/presentation skills/high energy and engaging
Ability to work with and advise the wider business on best practice.
Confident communicator (both verbal and written) with a personable and professional manner and the ability to interact and relate to all levels of employees and build strong working relationships.
Excellent IT skills (including Microsoft applications) with the ability to identify and apply IT solutions.
Good knowledge of industry and key changes.
Project Management experience (desirable)
Knowledge of creating digital solutions/elearning
Efficient time management & organisational skills
High level attention to detail
Ability to stay calm in difficult situations
Proactive approach to using initiative
Ability to demonstrate confidentiality and understanding when handling sensitive situations and information.
Good judgment and decision making skills.
Experience of delivering Training and Development events.
Current full driving license (essential).

Beneficial
A knowledge of the FLOW Learner Management system would be an advantage
A knowledge of Safeguarding children /delivery
The role will require travel to our Centres and Camps during when in operation
